A few things to do in the morning,

like hang the signs out at the road, 

and we will be ready to open at 8 AM

Quilts .... some old and others new ...

When I started going through my collection of quilts

I never realize how many I have!!

From new to tattered, complete to cutter.

I love to buy old quilts, some to cut up

and make other things out of them, and some

to just use or display. 

I also love to make quilts and can't seem

to resist designing a new pattern, so I have quite a few.

I am offering them for sale so

can have room to make more!

Worked outside today!!

Setting up a few photography stations...

We will have pumpkins, gourds

and bittersweet for sale also!

BEDSPRINGS AND BASEBALLS

Bedprings and baseballs.....a few of my favorite things... springs can have a lot of different uses like table markers, Christmas trees, photo holders to name a few. Baseballs are just cool, whether they are single on a shelf or a basket full.

Ice Skate Lamps In our sports section

Today we worked on our sports section.

It is full of tackle boxes, camping stuff, a golf cart,

tennis rackets, minnow bucket, and baseballs to name some of it.

We worked on our kitchen room today.

We have a lot of stuff for the kitchen gadget collector!

Scale, coffe pot lamp, and a ceramic cookie jar.

'Made in USA' and 'MCCOY' and misc

a few ceramic 'JAPAN' spice containers....

Suitcases galore....

We have a pile of empty suitcases we are going to sell.

You can use them to make shelves,

for some awesome storage,

to make a table, or

to take a trip!

Glass Lamp Shades

Finally, we found a good spot for these shades today.

We have so many we needed 8 foot x 2 foot shelf!

Unless we find more... we're not completely done sorting...

Shutterbugs of Southwest Iowa Shutterbugs will be at our sale!!

Southwest Iowa Shutterbug Fundraiser!!

Photography Club members will be available during our show to take pictures of your little ones around the farm! Pumpkins, cornstalks and bales of straw!

A great opportunity to get you FALL photos taken.

Southwest Iowa Shutterbugs is a non-profit photography club. They meet in Creston every first Thursday of the month and get together at least one other time for 'hand-on' fun with their cameras. You can follow them and check out their photos on Facebook.

TOOLS & HARDWARE section

Worked in the TOOLS & HARDWARE section today...

 We have a LOT of HARDWARE...

AND TOOLS!!

So many it took us all day to sort!

We have door knobs, hinges, old door locks,

screwdrivers, old drill bits...

wrenches, chisels, saws... etc etc.

Something for every collector!

All cool to hang on the wall or use as paper weights.

Alot of them in good enough shape to use.

We both like tools and it is obvious 

when you see how many we collected!
